This is a long‑term opportunity at an inclusive all‑age school seeking a full‑time Teaching Assistant to provide ongoing support for pupils with special educational needs. The role involves working with a range of age groups and the school team to help pupils feel safe, engaged, and supported throughout the school day.
Key Responsibilities- Support pupils with SEN on a 1:1 basis and in small groups.
- Assist with learning activities across different age ranges.
- Encourage positive behaviour, independence, and engagement.
- Support pupils’ emotional and social development.
- Work closely with teaching and support staff across the school.
- Experience supporting children or young people with special educational needs (essential).
- A reliable, committed, and dedicated approach.
- Confidence working with pupils of different ages.
- A calm, patient, and supportive manner.
- A valid DBS on the Update Service, or willingness to obtain one.
