An established construction and engineering company based in Redditch is looking to take on an experienced Health & Safety Manager on a part-time basis to look after safety across their sites around the UK.

This is a standalone role, so you need to be comfortable working on your own, managing everything from site visits through to paperwork and reporting back to the Director.

What you’ll be doing :

* Regular site visits to check standards are being met

* Carrying out risk assessments and site audits

* Reviewing and producing RAMS

* Picking up on unsafe practices and making sure they’re corrected

* Investigating any accidents or near misses

* Running toolbox talks and site inductions

* Keeping all H&S paperwork up to date

* Making sure the business stays compliant with UK H&S legislation

What they’re looking for:

* Someone with real experience in a construction-based H&S role

* NEBOSH qualified (or equivalent)

* Confident dealing with site teams and challenging what’s not right

* Happy to travel to sites nationwide

* Full UK driving licence (vehicle provided)
