Contracts Manager

Position: Contracts Manager (Permanent)
The Role

We’re looking for an experienced Roofing Contracts Manager to take control of live projects across re-roofing, repairs, and planned maintenance works. This is a hands-on role, ideal for someone who knows roofing inside out and is comfortable running multiple jobs from start to finish.

You’ll be the link between clients, site teams, and suppliers — keeping jobs on track, on budget, and to a high standard (no bodge jobs on your watch).

Key Responsibilities

* Manage multiple roofing contracts simultaneously

* Oversee re-roofing, reactive repairs, and maintenance works

* Plan and programme works, labour, and materials

* Supervise site teams and subcontractors

* Carry out site visits, inspections, and progress checks

* Ensure all works comply with H&S regulations

* Manage budgets, variations, and cost control

* Liaise with clients, surveyors, and suppliers

* Resolve site issues quickly and professionally

* Sign off completed works and ensure quality standards are met

What We’re Looking For (The Non-Negotiables)

* Proven experience in roofing contracts management

* Strong background in re-roofing, repairs, and maintenance (essential)

* Good technical roofing knowledge (flat and pitched)

* Confident managing operatives and subcontractors

* Strong organisational and problem-solving skills

* Able to communicate clearly with clients and site teams

* Full UK driving licence

* SMSTS / SSSTS

* First Aid

* Experience working on social housing or commercial projects
