Position: Cabinet Maker/ Installer

O2 Employment Services is seeking a skilled Cabinet Maker / Installer for a full-time opportunity with a reputable custom cabinetry operation.

This position is primarily shop-based fabrication with occasional field installation. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, takes pride in craftsmanship, and produces high-quality finished work that meets professional standards.

  • Hourly pay: $23–$28 per hour, dependent on work experience
  • Higher pay may be available for proficient installers who consistently meet or exceed expectations
  • Urgent care medical benefits offered after 6 months of successful employment
  • 401(k) eligibility after 1 year, with 4% employer matching
Cabinet Maker / Installer – Qualifications
  • 3–5 years of experience in cabinet making and installation
  • Must be able to successfully complete a background check after a conditional offer
  • Must have a valid driver’s license and successful driving record
  • Strong working knowledge of woodworking tools, equipment, and materials
  • Demonstrated attention to finish quality and professional craftsmanship
  • Ability to problem-solve and adapt in both shop and field environments
  • Team player with a strong work ethic and positive attitude
  • Physically capable of lifting and carrying up to 75 lbs
  • Valid California driver’s license with a clean driving record
  • Perform shop fabrication of custom cabinets and components (approximately 80% of the role)
  • Complete on-site cabinet installation as needed, including trim work, crown molding, and finish details
  • Operate shop equipment such as edge banders, panel saws, shapers, and table saws
  • Safely and efficiently use small and portable woodworking tools
  • Read and interpret plans, drawings, and specifications accurately
  • Build custom cabinets and parts with precision and attention to detail
  • Troubleshoot and adapt to irregularities in walls, floors, and jobsite conditions during installation
  • Maintain high standards of fit, finish, and overall craftsmanship
  • Complete work within budgeted and scheduled time frames
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
  • Collaborate effectively with team members while demonstrating initiative and reliability
