Auto Mechanic

O2 Employment Services is working with a local reputable Automotive Service Company who is looking for a General Technician. This is a full-time, regular role in Redding, CA.

The ideal candidate will have a broad technical knowledge in all things mechanical and electrical.

• Minimum 2 years of experience in a mechanical or technician role.
• Strong understanding of automotive systems and repair techniques.
• Excellent problem-solving and diagnostic skills.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality work.
• Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
• Provide own set of tools.

• Perform diagnostics, repairs, and maintenance on a variety of vehicles, including driveline and suspension systems.
• Inspect and identify mechanical problems using diagnostic equipment.
• Conduct routine maintenance such as fluid checks, alignments, and part replacements.
• Document services performed and parts used accurately.
• Work with the service team to ensure timely completion of jobs.
• Maintain a clean and organized workspace.
• Uphold all safety and quality standards.
• Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors regarding job status and recommendations.
