Job Summary And Responsibilities

The incumbent performs the primary function of an RN in assessing planning implementing and evaluating the care of patients. The incumbent assists physicians with the development and implementation of wound treatment plans and participates in performance improvement review activities. The incumbent acts within the guidelines of federal and state laws Joint Commission Standards and professional and ethical practice.

• Minimum Qualifications
• Recent 1 Year Wound Care Nurse Experience Required
• AA degree in nursing from an accredited school of nursing required
• Licensed or eligible for licensing in State as a Registered Nurse. Wound Care Certification required within 6 months of hire or transfer. WOUND CARE CERTIFICATION
• Basic Life Support - CPR (BLS-CPR)

• Verbal and written communication skills and computer skills required
• Recent 3 Years Wound Care Nurse Experience Preferred
• BS degree in nursing from an accredited school of nursing preferred
