- Coordination of Care:
Collaborate effectively with the surgical team, including surgeons and anesthesiologists, ensuring cohesive patient management. - Leadership and Guidance:
Direct and support the OR Technician and other personnel while upholding the highest standards of professional nursing practice. - Interdepartmental
Collaboration:
Engage with various departments to facilitate a seamless continuum of care and enhance patient flow. - Regulatory Compliance:
Ensure strict adherence to all relevant regulations, standards, and hospital or unit policies. - Performance Improvement Participation:
Actively engage in Performance Improvement initiatives, unit meetings, and professional development in‑services. - Resource Availability:
Serve as a knowledgeable resource for colleagues, offering guidance and support as needed.
- Current and valid state RN License.
- Current BLS (AHA) certificate upon hire and maintenance.
- Current ACLS (AHA) certificate 30 days upon hire and maintain current.
- Current PALS (AHA) certificate 30 days upon hire and maintain current.
- Minimum of one‑year previous Perioperative experience or on‑the‑job training.
- Certified Nurse OR (CNOR) Certification (AORN) preferred.
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred.
The current compensation range for this role is $44.57 to $71.14. The exact starting compensation will be determined at the time of selecting an applicant for hire, taking into account skillset, years of applicable experience, education, credentials, and licensure.
