$55-$60 PER HOUR
RN Emergency room. Must be able to float between units and work weekends. Preference given to candidates available for a full schedule through the end of January and the first week of February. Night/Day shift, 12-hour shifts.
Start date:
1/17. Minimum compliance requirements must be met prior to starting; full compliance profile must be completed within two weeks after the start date. Position is Per Diem for 26 weeks.
Patient Care & Clinical Duties
- Perform rapid and comprehensive assessments of patients presenting with urgent or emergent health needs.
- Initiate and manage triage based on acuity and established protocols.
- Administer medications, IV therapies, and emergency interventions in accordance with physician orders and hospital guidelines.
- Monitor patient conditions, document changes, and elevate concerns promptly.
- Assist physicians with procedures such as intubation, wound care, central line placement, splinting, and resuscitation efforts.
- Provide care during cardiac arrests, trauma activations, stroke alerts, and other emergency situations.
- Prepare patients for diagnostic testing and interpret basic results to inform care decisions.
- ADN or BSN in Nursing.
- Passing the National Council Licensure Examination (NCLEX-RN).
- Active state license as a registered nurse.
- Current BLS/CPR and ACLS certification.
- CEN certification.
