The Registered Nurse is responsible for the delivery of safe patient care utilizing the nursing process of assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation. The RN provides direct patient care within the scope of practice, directs and guides patient/family teaching and activities of other nursing personnel while maintaining standards of care within the Medical/Surgical Unit. The RN is directly responsible and accountable for the care given to assigned patients, communicates with physicians regarding changes in patients’ clinical condition, including cardiac monitoring, diagnostic studies and symptomatology, and responds quickly and accurately to changes in condition and/or response to treatment.
Qualifications- Current and valid state RN License.
- Current BLS (AHA) certificate upon hire and maintained.
- Current ACLS (AHA) certificate within 30 days upon hire and maintained.
- Previous Acute Care hospital experience preferred.
- Ventilator Management experience preferred.
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred.
The current compensation range for this role is $41.62 to $68.40. The exact starting compensation will be determined at the time of selecting an applicant for hire based on skillset, years of experience, education, credentials, and licensure.
