Job Description
American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for an ICU Critical Care travel position requiring current ACLS and BLS certifications.
Responsibilities- Work in an Intensive Care Unit (ICU) setting
- Night shift from 18:00 to 06:30
- 13-week travel assignment
- Deliver safe, direct patient care using the nursing process in the ICU
- Guide and educate patients and families while supporting other nursing staff
- Communicate with physicians regarding patient condition changes, hemodynamic monitoring, and critical results
- Respond rapidly to changes in patient condition and treatment response
- Maintain patient privacy and uphold confidentiality at all times
- Active RN license
- Minimum 3 years of ICU nursing experience
- Current certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) from the American Heart Association or Red Cross
- Current certification in Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) from the American Heart Association or Red Cross
- DCI/BVP certification or completion of a comparable workplace violence prevention program required
