O2 Employment Services is partnering with a reputable local Law Office to fill a full‑time Certified Paralegal position. This is an excellent opportunity for a detail‑oriented, motivated professional looking to grow their legal career within a supportive and established team environment.

Qualifications of the Paralegal
  • Clear and effective communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Excellent organizational abilities, attention to detail, and accuracy
  • Strong collaboration and interpersonal skills
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and general computer systems
  • Strong problem‑solving abilities and sound judgment
  • Initiative to evaluate and streamline internal processes
  • Professional demeanor and commitment to quality work
  • Fundamental understanding of legal terminology, procedures, and concepts
  • Basic knowledge of family law, civil law, criminal law, and relevant court rules
  • Ability to conduct basic legal research, locate statutes, and use computerized research tools
  • Experience preparing legal documents and handling sensitive client information
Responsibilities of the Paralegal
  • Conducting client intake interviews and gathering pertinent information
  • Assisting with case planning, development, and ongoing case management
  • Preparing a variety of legal documents related to protection orders, custody, paternity, divorce, and other family or civil matters
  • Organizing and assembling documents for filing with the court
  • Conducting investigative work, statistical reviews, and document-based research
  • Referring clients to attorneys or other legal resources when necessary
  • Drafting legal documents, pleadings, correspondence, and reports
  • Analyzing legal documents and compiling technical information to support attorney recommendations
  • Gathering facts, retrieving case information, and maintaining organized case files
  • Ensuring compliance with deadlines and court requirements
  • Providing exceptional client service and supporting a positive team environment
  • Performing additional duties as assigned to support office operations
