Our client is looking for a Municipal Planner to join their growing team.
Municipal Planner Compensation and Benefits:- Base salary of $30-$38/hr
- Support municipalities with current and long-range planning tasks
- Assist private development projects through the entitlement process
- Build and maintain strong relationships with agencies
- Manage multiple projects and deadlines efficiently
- Bachelor’s degree in a planning-related field from an accredited university
- 4+ years of professional planning experience with municipalities or private clients (planning, technical studies, design)
- Knowledge of CEQA/NEPA and permitting processes (local, CDFW, Coastal Commission, Army Corps, RWQCB)
- Skilled in technical and grant writing, QA/QC, and report preparation
- Strong municipal planning background
- Strong research skills and use of agency websites and GIS platforms
