Join our dynamic team as a Building Inspector where you'll play a vital role in ensuring the safety, compliance, and quality of construction projects within our communities. As a meticulous and detail‑oriented professional, you will conduct thorough inspections of buildings and structures at various stages of construction, renovation, or alteration, ensuring adherence to local building codes, regulations, and standards. Your keen eye for detail and commitment to excellence will contribute to the overall safety and integrity of our built environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive inspections of residential, commercial, and industrial properties to verify compliance with building codes, zoning regulations, and other applicable standards.
  • Review building plans, blueprints, and specifications to assess compliance with regulatory requirements and identify potential issues or discrepancies.
  • Perform on‑site inspections during different phases of construction to evaluate structural integrity, electrical, plumbing, HVAC systems, energy & green code, accessibility and overall safety measures.
  • Document inspection findings accurately and thoroughly, including any violations, deficiencies, or areas of non‑compliance, and prepare detailed reports for stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with architects, engineers, contractors, and other stakeholders to address compliance issues, provide guidance on corrective actions, and ensure timely resolution of issues.
  • Respond to inquiries from property owners, contractors, and the public regarding building codes, regulations, and inspection processes.
  • Stay informed about changes in building codes, regulations, and industry best practices, and participate in training and professional development activities to maintain current knowledge and skills.
