Automotive Technician

O2 Employment Services is working with a reputable Automotive Repair Company to find their next Automotive Technician. This position is based in Redding, CA.

The ideal candidate will be an experienced and motivated technician who thrives in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment. They’ll bring strong diagnostic and repair skills, a passion for quality craftsmanship, and a desire to grow their career while enjoying excellent work-life balance.

• $35-$40
• Vision, dental, and medical insurance offered through O2
• Four 10 hour days (Mon–Thu, 6:30 AM–5:30 PM) with Fridays off

• 3+ years of automotive repair experience
• Proficiency in diagnostics, repairs, and use of shop tools/software (or eagerness to learn)
• ASE certified or ready to earn certification
• Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work in varying temperatures
• Strong attention to detail, work ethic, and a collaborative attitude

• Diagnose and repair vehicles, from daily drivers to light-duty diesel trucks
• Perform routine maintenance and complex repairs to meet manufacturer specs
• Document work in Tekmetric and maintain a clean, organized work bay
• Road-test vehicles to ensure repairs meet shop’s “Quality Craftsmanship” standards
• Collaborate with service advisors to maintain efficient workflow and minimize downtime
