We are undergoing an exciting period of growth and are onboarding a Sales Manager for the South London region to increase our footprint in the UK Wholesale Cable market.
Responsibilities- Boost sales of existing products and grow market share.
- Launch products into a crowded market, aiming to become a significant partner.
- Develop new customer relationships and maintain existing ones.
- Work closely with the wider sales team for cross‑selling opportunities.
- Handle daily customer contact and visits.
- Coordinate customer meetings, internal reporting, and follow‑ups.
- Engage with consultants and engineers to ensure NKT products are considered for installation on projects.
- Increase sales in % and £ margin within the region.
- Sell multiple products to existing and new customers.
- Assist the Head of Sales in implementing detailed and effective sales plans to facilitate penetration with existing and new customers.
- Maximise sales and new opportunities based on market data and current sales practices.
- Proven time‑management skills to prioritise large regions and diverse clients.
- Provide reports on sales activity, forecasting and performance.
- Keep up to date with the current market and competitors in the region and industry.
- Be available to attend industry events and trade shows.
An existing network of wholesale contacts in South London is essential. Experience in electrical cables and related products is advantageous.
The ideal candidate has a proven track record in sales management, strategic thinking, and a ready‑made network or their own clientele. Must hold a full, clean driver’s licence.
