Production Operator

Overview

Job Title: Production Operator - 2nd Shift

Role

Summary:

This role involves operating production equipment, ensuring product and quality specifications are met, and actively participating in safety and continuous improvement initiatives.

• Adhere to all safety/housekeeping requirements within a manufacturing setting.
• Operate production equipment, troubleshoot, and adjust operations to meet product and quality specifications.
• Record production data and other results as required.
• Apply basic maintenance skills to help service equipment.
• Actively participate in plant safety and continuous improvement initiatives as directed by supervision.
• Be adaptable to scheduling requirements, including shiftwork, overtime, and weekend work where applicable.

• Able to work safely in a manufacturing setting and follow all plant safety and housekeeping rules.
• Ability to learn to operate and troubleshoot plant equipment.
• Ability to interpret verbal and written work instructions.
• Ability to apply basic computer skills for data entry and reporting.
• Proficiency in taking measurements to verify product specifications.
• Basic maintenance skills and familiarity with common hand tools (hammer, wrench, screwdrivers, pliers, putty knife, etc.).
• Effective teamwork and communication skills with all co-workers.
• Maintain regular and predictable attendance.

Hourly Salary: $25.03

Shifts: 1st shift (7am-3pm) and 2nd shift (3pm-11pm)

Rate of pay: May be adjusted based on qualifications and experience.
