Dishwasher/Steward – Part‑Time – St. James Hotel
The St. James Hotel is an iconic boutique hotel offering modern conveniences and Victorian charm, providing luxurious amenities and culinary delights delivered by remarkable hospitality professionals.
Salary: $11.54 – $15.07 per hour (depending on qualifications). Part‑time employees receive a comprehensive benefits package that includes a 401(k) match, employee discounts, and well‑being resources.
Primary Responsibilities- Sweep and mop the entire kitchen, dish areas, restaurant line, banquet areas, and walk‑in coolers.
- Clean china, silverware, and glassware using dishwashers or hand washing as needed.
- Wash and clear counters, shelves, and queen blocks.
- Wash dish area and kitchen mats.
- Assist cooks with set‑up and breakdown, ensuring overall cleanliness.
- Monitor trash and recycling levels, removing waste when necessary.
- Wash pots and pans, scrubbing kettles and skillets, and return them to their proper places after cleaning.
