Rigger​/Millwright - Per Diem

Position: Rigger/Millwright - Per Diem Offered
Trillium Construction is seeking Industrial Riggers/Millwrights for a project in Red Oak, TX to support fast-paced data center construction activities. The primary focus of this role is offloading equipment, moving and staging materials, and installing data center racking systems (up to 20 racks per day). Must be capable of safe and efficient rigging under crane hooks, operating forklifts, and performing bolt-up and light mechanical assembly work.

Key Responsibilities
-Safely rig loads under crane hooks, ensuring proper use of rigging hardware, slings, and lift plans.
-Offload trucks carrying equipment, machinery, and racking materials.
-Move equipment into the facility using forklifts, pallet jacks, dollies, and rigging tools.
-Stage, assemble, and set data center racking systems, meeting daily production expectations in a fast-paced environment.
-Perform bolt-up, alignment, and mechanical assembly tasks as required.
-Coordinate with crane operators, delivery drivers, and installation teams to ensure safe and efficient workflow.
-Conduct pre-lift assessments and participate in job hazard analysis (JHA) and safety meetings.
-Maintain equipment, tools, and work areas in clean, operable condition.

Pay: $32
Per Diem: $100 / day for all 7 days

Schedule:

Mon - Sat, 60h+ / week

Qualifications
-OSHA 10 Certification
-Pre-employment screenings
-4+ years of experience in industrial rigging, millwright work, or heavy equipment installation.
-Ability to rig loads safely under cranes with proper knowledge of load charts and rigging best practices.
-Proficient in forklift operation (certification preferred or ability to be certified).
-Experience in rack installation, bolt-up, or mechanical assembly a strong plus.
-Ability to work quickly while maintaining accuracy and safety.
-Strong understanding of hand tools, power tools, and rigging equipment.
-Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work on feet for extended periods.
-Must be reliable, safety-driven, and capable of working in a team environment.

Preferred Skills
-Millwright certification or journeyman level training
-Crane rigging certification (NCCER, CIC, or equivalent)
-Forklift certification
-Experience in data center construction or high-tech facilities
