Google's Hardware Operations team monitors the state‑of‑the‑art physical infrastructure behind Google’s search technology. As a Manager, you will lead a team of Data Center Technicians, oversee the quality installation of server hardware and components, and manage complex installations and troubleshooting of servers and networking equipment.
The US base salary range for this full‑time position is $129,000‑$189,000 plus bonus, equity, and benefits.
Minimum Qualifications- Bachelor's degree in a technical field or equivalent practical experience.
- 8 years of experience in computing infrastructure, networking, operating systems, or hardware.
- 5 years of experience managing technical, vendor, contract management, or delivery teams. amount
- Ability to work non‑standard hours, including weekends, nights, holidays, and shift schedules.
- Experience in data center environments, including infrastructure building and operation.
- Experience developing network architecture.
- Experience leading and managing projects from initiation to completion.
- Experience executing initiatives on a global scale.
- Ability to lead Environmental Health & Safety initiatives.
- Overблем management of teams within data center operations.
- Identify and resolve problems and create solutions for global computing and network architecture.
- Manage implementation of projects within the team and effectively communicate business priorities.
- Hire, coach, and develop a team while achieving business goals and implementing a safety culture.
- Ensure data center related priorities are consistent with company objectives.
