As Data Center Commissioning Manager, you lead the complete technical validation of complex data‑center builds, steering every phase of commissioning to make sure each facility performs exactly as designed on day one.

- Direct all commissioning stages from pre‑design through integrated systems testing and final hand‑over.
- Craft and maintain detailed project playbooks, milestone trackers, and script libraries that keep teams aligned and on schedule.
- Collaborate with designers, contractors, vendors, and owner reps to verify design intent and operational readiness.
- Oversee on‑site testing of mechanical, electrical, plumbing, fire/life‑safety, controls, and monitoring systems.
- Coordinate factory witness, site‑acceptance, and integrated‑systems tests, documenting results and driving corrective actions to closure.
- Maintain a live issues log, assign action owners, and provide real‑time status reports until every deficiency is resolved.
- Lead client training sessions, assemble turnover packages, and support a seamless transition to operations.
- Champion a proactive safety culture and mentor junior commissioning engineers.
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Facilities Management, or equivalent practical experience.
- 7+ years of commissioning leadership within mission‑critical environments such as data centers, hospitals, or semiconductor fabs.
- Expert knowledge of power distribution, chilled‑water and DX cooling, and building‑automation systems.
- Proven experience creating Level 1‑5 test scripts and managing phased commissioning programs.
- Proficient in interpreting one‑lines, P&IDs, sequences of operation, and construction documentation.
- Exceptional communication, vendor‑management, and problem‑solving skills.
- Current CxA, CCP, PE, or equivalent credential.
- Background working on hyperscale or colocation campuses exceeding 50 MW.
- Familiarity with ASHRAE, NFPA, IEEE, and Uptime Institute standards.
