Position Overview
Chinook’s Edge School Division invites applications for a full‑time Family School Wellness Worker serving schools throughout Chinook’s Edge School Division in a pooled model of service delivery. The successful candidate will provide prevention, support and referral services to children and their families. The position is located in Sylvan Lake, but the responsibilities are to the Division program. Candidates should have skills in early intervention and crisis intervention, and experience working with community agencies and schools.
Preference will be given to applicants who possess a degree in social work or an equivalent discipline.
The Family School Wellness Worker will work in providing prevention, support and referral services to children and their families across the division.
QualificationsEarly intervention and crisis intervention skills, knowledge and experience working with community agencies and schools, and a degree in social work or an equivalent discipline (preferred).
