We seek a dynamic and results-driven Territory Manager to join our growing team. The successful candidate will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, building and maintaining customer relationships, and achieving sales targets. As a Territory Manager, you will drive revenue growth by promoting our products and providing exceptional customer service.
This role is based in Red Deer & will require frequent travel throughout Central Alberta, but home every night!
Essential Responsibilities and Duties Customer Relationship Management- Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and prospective customers in both retail and on premise.
- Address client concerns and inquiries in a timely and professional manner.
- Conduct site visits and communicate with customers to ensure their needs are met.
- Listen and identify customer issues and develop a plan to resolve them
- Effectively communicate the features and benefits of our products to potential and existing customers.
- Ability to convert leads into new accounts and generate revenue
- Ability to grow sales with existing customers and increase existing revenue.
- Stay informed about industry trends, competitor activities, and market changes.
- Provide feedback to the sales and marketing teams to enhance product/service offerings and strategies.
- Maintain accurate records of sales activities, including contacts, opportunities, closed deals and other Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
- Populate CRM daily
- Prepare regular reports and communicate sales performance
- Supporting customer promotions such as building product and marketing displays
- Merchandise and date check product at accounts
- Attend relevant community & industry events when appropriate
- Set up and perform account tastings
- Assist in determining which sponsorship and donation opportunities are suitable for the business.
- Play a role in nurturing various sponsorship and community relationships as they relate explicitly to sales and the overall brand of Troubled Monk.
A competitive salary plus a bonus will be provided. The compensation package will include a vehicle allowance and a cell phone allowance. The expected total compensation package will be in the $62,000 to $68,000 range.
Qualifications and Skills- Sales experience in the industry is considered an asset
- Motivated to improve, grow and tackle challenges
- Ability to build strong relationships both inside and outside the organization
- Strong computer skills with experience using Google Suite
- Positive, optimistic and upbeat attitude. Ability to ‘read the room’ and relate to different people in a variety of settings
- Proven experience in CPG sales, with a track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets
- Ability to multitask, handling multiple products, customers, and events at the same time
