- Lead, mentor, and develop frontline team members, fostering a positive, inclusive, and performance‑driven culture
- Build strong customer relationships and deliver exceptional customer service
- Responsible for talent management processes for their respective team members
- Drive location financial performance by supporting sales growth, margin management, and operational cost control
- Ordering and receiving of products
- Ensure compliance with fuel handling regulations, hazardous goods requirements, and safety and health legislation
- Manage inventory for fuel, convenience store products, supplies, and propane exchange—ensuring accuracy, availability, and asset protection
- Providing operational direction and supporting the implementation of programs and policies
Qualifications:
Grade 12 diploma or equivalent
6-9+ years of relevant experience, including 3+ years of leadership experience
Strong understanding of fuel handling regulations, workplace safety, and operational best practices
Proven ability to lead teams, manage budgets, and meet operational and financial targets
Exceptional organizational, and decision‑making skills
Strong computer and technical background, including effective working skills of the Microsoft suite and Outlook
Ability to work independently or as part of a Team
Excellent interpersonal skills and emotional intelligence
Proven effective communication skills; both verbal and written
Experience in a Co-op retail environment preferred
