Role Description

This is a full‑time hybrid role for a Quality System Manager located in Red Deer, AB, with some work‑from‑home flexibility. The Quality System Manager will be responsible for developing, implementing, and maintaining company quality management systems to ensure compliance with applicable industry certifications and safety standards. This includes conducting audits, analyzing quality metrics, and facilitating continuous improvement initiatives. The role also involves collaborating with cross‑functional teams to promote a safety‑conscious workplace and oversee training programs related to compliance, quality, and best practices.

Qualifications
  • Experience in quality systems management, including ISO certification and compliance with industry safety standards.
  • Experience with API Q1 spec implementation and maintenance.
  • Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills for data analysis, root cause identification, and continuous improvement processes.
  • Knowledge in manufacturing processes and testing protocols, specifically with pressure control and downhole tools.
  • Excellent communication, documentation, and report‑writing abilities.
  • Proficiency in quality management software and tools, with an understanding of QR code systems for operations tracking.
  • Experience in team leadership, training program development, and fostering a safety‑oriented culture.
  • Bachelor’s degree or relevant certification in quality management, engineering, or a related field preferred.
  • Strong organizational skills and a proven ability to work in a hybrid work environment.
