GC/MS Analyst (Fragrance)

To carry out analysis of raw materials for Quality Control Department and advise on results.

To carry out analytical work to resolve any issues with factory production batches, customer complaints or other.

To carry out all necessary solvent extractions/SPME extractions for customer matching projects.

To carry out analysis of fragrances for matching projects along with any necessary Tech formulation work.

To develop and maintain the GCMS library of raw materials.

To carry out any necessary maintenance duties on the GCMS which fall outside of the yearly PM or breakdown call outs.

To report and resolve any breakdowns to equipment vendor keeping downtime to a minimum.

To liaise with the Senior Perfumer on any aspect of project work where necessary to meet the required deadlines.

Job Requirements

Minimum 5 years of relevant industry experience.

Diploma or higher educational qualifications.
