The Painter is responsible for first-class workmanship in the preparation of metal materials and the application of high-quality, lasting finishes on Badger-manufactured products.

The compensation for this role will be commensurate based on education and/or experience.

RESPONSIBILITIES What You'll Be Doing
  • Application of paint to Badger-manufactured products (e.g. Hydrovac equipment).
  • Follows quality control process by completing inspections for any flaws in between application of coats.
  • Conducts preventative maintenance of paint spray equipment and daily inspections of work equipment.
  • Prepares metal components to be painted and ensures the proper disposal of leftover materials as per legislative requirements.
  • Trains and guides employees in the operation, cleaning, and maintenance of painting tools and equipment as well as the mixing and application of primers and high-performance coatings to metal surfaces, fabricated arts, assemblies, and structures to obtain the desired colour and consistency.
QUALIFICATIONS

What You'll Need For Success:

  • Education high school diploma or GED.
  • Minimum 6 months of hands-on experience as a manufacturing spray painter required.
  • Must be able to carry and move equipment and/or supplies of more than 25 pounds.
  • Must be able to distinguish colours.
  • Sandblaster experience preferred.
  • Must be eligible to work in Canada.
