As the RCD/MPD Shop Technician you will have the opportunity to play a pivotal role in enhancing the operational efficiency of our facility and equipment assembly processes.
Key Responsibilities- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Maintain the upkeep of the facility and yard.
- Assist in the assembly, inspection, repair, and maintenance of all RCD/MPD related equipment.
- Assist in the shipping and receiving of RCD/MPD equipment.
- Deliver and/or pick up supplies from vendors.
- Assist in monthly inventory counts.
- Inspect all equipment used and perform preventive maintenance checks and service.
- Maintain company issued tools and develop knowledge and skill in their use.
- Assist Shop Foreman with day-to-day tasks as required.
- Complete required JHA forms, inspections forms and Sitedocs.
- 1 to 2 years’ experience working in a shop environment.
- Mechanically inclined and able to implement mechanical knowledge and skills.
- Required
Certifications: - Valid driver’s license with clean drivers abstract
- First Aid
- Excellent communication (written and verbal), analytical and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to adhere to process and documentation requirements.
- Knowledge of:
- Maintenance processes and procedures
- Mechanical tools and equipment
- Able to handle multiple tasks under tight deadlines requiring minimal supervision.
- Self-starter with ability to work cohesively as a part of a team.
- Availability for overtime (evenings/weekends) on short notice as dictated by production demand.
- Availability for periodic day/night shift rotation (12 hours) to accommodate product testing schedule.
- Organized, dependable and action orientated.
- Adherence to regulatory and company safety policies.
- Basic computer skills including Microsoft Office.
- Personal transportation for travel to and from work.
- Experience with RCD/MPD operations and/or manufacturing.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Business 365.
- Experience working in an API Certified facility.
