Job Summary:

The Recycling Worker plays a crucial role in the waste management process by ensuring that recyclable materials are properly sorted, processed, and prepared for reuse. This position involves working in a fast-paced environment where attention to detail and adherence to safety protocols are essential. The Recycling Worker will engage in various tasks that contribute to the overall efficiency of the recycling operation.

Duties

• Sort and separate recyclable materials from non-recyclables on a conveyor belt.
• Dig through waste materials to retrieve recyclable items when necessary.
• Perform heavy lifting of materials, ensuring proper techniques are used to prevent injury.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient workflow and adherence to safety standards.

Skills

• Strong ability to perform heavy lifting tasks safely and effectively.
• Experience in cleaning and sanitizing work spaces and equipment.
