We are looking for a Food Services Manager for our clients. You will be reporting to 100 College Circle, Donald Blvd, Red Deer, AB T0M 1R0, Canada. This position is in a remote site within a rural destination.

Job Duties include but are not limited to the following:

● Plan, organize, direct, control, and evaluate large-scale food service operations within a post-secondary institutional setting in accordance with contractual and regulatory requirements.

● Develop, implement, and enforce operational policies, procedures, and service standards across food outlets, catering services, and retail franchise operations, ensuring adherence to brand standards.

● Manage procurement activities and negotiate with suppliers and vendors for food products, equipment, and services in accordance with corporate and client policies.

● Recruit, train, supervise, and evaluate management, supervisory, and frontline food service staff.

● Develop and manage staff schedules, workforce planning, and labor allocation to meet operational demands and service level expectations.

● Ensure strict compliance with food safety legislation, occupational health and safety requirements, internal audits, and quality assurance programs.

● Serve as the primary operational liaison with institutional stakeholders, addressing service expectations, compliance matters, and continuous improvement initiatives.
● Resolve complex operational and customer service challenges in high-volume food service and catering environments.

● Prepare and present detailed operational, staffing, and financial reports to senior management and institutional representatives.
Prerequisites:

Education:

Master’s Degree or equivalent. Experience &

Skills:

5 years or more prior supervisory experience within the food industry or equivalent experience.
Language:
English
● Driver’s license is required
Annual Salary: $75,000 to $80,000 for 30 to 40 hours per week
Starting Date:
As soon as possible
Terms of Employment:
Full-time and permanent
