About the position

Duties
Operations Managers in CORCAN are responsible to report to the executive and oversee the
operations at a site, multiple site or regional level. This may include responsibility for management within site(s) for specific business line(s) and/or regional activities such as representing CORCAN in various forums at a regional level, sales, installations, etc.. This includes ensuring the CORCAN employment and employability program is supported while considering the business and governmental aspects of operating within a Special Operating Agency.

Work environment
Depending on the position, the incumbant is based in a federal penitentiary, CORCAN community industry or regional headquarters environments. All incumbents must be willing to work on a regular basis within a federal correctional environment, including contact with offenders. Incumbents also have regular contact with other areas of CSC and the government, as well as stakeholder groups and members of the public.🏢

Please note that this position requires physical attendance at the federal facility five days a week. The selected candidate must be able to perform their duties on-site to ensure the management of all necessary activities.
