Are you a motivated individual with a commitment to safety and customer service? Do you excel in fast-paced environments? Innisfail Agro Centre presents the perfect opportunity for you! We’re currently looking for seasonal Agro Equipment Operators to join our dynamic team.

Position: Agro Equipment Operator

Term: This is a temporary contract for approximately 7 months, from March 2026 to October 2026

Part-time: 24 - 36 hours per week

Availability: Weekdays and weekends - mornings, afternoons, and evenings

Responsibilities:

  • Operate equipment such as Floaters, Sprayers, and Loaders safely and efficiently

  • Conduct pre-operation inspections, routine maintenance, and follow daily maintenance schedules

  • Ensure accurate product application, documentation, and timely paperwork submission

  • Adhere to all safety regulations, company policies, and environmental standards

  • Obtain and maintain WHMIS and TDG certifications; complete required eLearning

  • Analyze agricultural trends and promote cross-marketing opportunities with growers

  • Load and unload products safely and efficiently

  • Maintain cleanliness of equipment, inside and out, on a regular basis

  • Work flexible hours, including early mornings, late evenings, and weekends as needed

  • Coordinate with Agro Delivery Drivers to ensure smooth operations

  • Build and maintain strong customer relationships, addressing needs and special requests

  • Communicate effectively with team members, customers, and supervisors

  • Prioritize tasks to ensure timely delivery of products and services

  • Report incidents and concerns to the supervisor promptly

  • Perform additional duties as assigned by the manager

  • Qualifications:

  • High School diploma is preferred

  • Must provide an acceptable driver's abstract upon hire

  • Class 3 Driver's License is preferred

  • Applicators licence required for Sprayer operator

  • Experience in customer service is preferred

  • Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

  • Knowledge of Central Alberta and surrounding area to successfully navigate is an asset

  • Experience with Viper GPS systems is an asset

  • Wheel loader and Floater operator experience is an asset

  • Working knowledge of Ag. Equipment is a requirement
