Job SummaryYou will administer and oversee all finance matters within the organization, leading and organizing office staff to ensure efficient daily operations. Your expertise in engineering accounts, particularly with WIP, will drive accurate financial management and compliance.
Responsibilities- Lead and organize office staff to execute daily finance and accounting tasks efficiently
- Administer and control the organization’s accounting systems (ZOHO SG and AUTOCOUNT MYR) ensuring compliance with Singapore business laws
- Develop, implement, and maintain accounting policies and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for finance staff to uphold internal controls
- Record and categorize financial transactions accurately to support financial reporting
- Prepare and submit monthly financial reports including Profit & Loss, Trial Balance, Balance Sheet, and asset management reports to General Manager by the 5th working day of each month
- Manage monthly payroll submissions to the bank ensuring timely and accurate processing
- Lead the year-end stock take process, coordinating all departments including Work In Progress (WIP) to ensure inventory accuracy
- Perform monthly bank reconciliations to ensure alignment between bank statements and company books
- Administer accounts receivable and cash flow management to ensure timely collection from customers
- Prepare and submit GST, IRAS, and all year-end tax filings in compliance with regulatory requirements
- Prepare journal entries and submit for approval in a timely manner
- Submit the yearly budget to auditors and monitor budget versus actual expenses for financial control
- Plan and schedule all necessary insurance policies to support business operations
- Schedule and manage monthly WIP reporting and execute monthly stock counts across departments
- Provide and manage supporting documentation for external year-end audits
- Perform ad-hoc finance duties as assigned to support organizational needs
- Diploma in Accounting
- Minimum 5 years of experience in manufacturing accounts with exposure to engineering accounts and WIP
- Excellent time management, planning, organization, and prioritization skills to meet deadlines
- Strong verbal and written communication skills to liaise effectively with customers and finance teams
- Detail-oriented and well-organized professional approach to financial management
