Responsibilities:

• Performs electrical or mechanical troubleshooting to determine problems in non-functioning electro-mechanical equipment used in the manufacturing process
• Dismantles, adjusts, repairs and assembles equipment according to layout plans, blueprints, operating or repair manuals, rough sketches or drawings
• Uses test and diagnostic equipment to perform checkouts
• Rebuilds engineering equipment as required
• May perform equipment modifications as directed by engineers
• Ensure record keeping and documentation in equipment tracking system
• Perform preventive maintenance and calibrations on equipment
• Respond to customer requests and prioritize customer requests accordingly
• Follow safety procedures and area work rules including proper PPE, lockout and chemical safety
• Operate and maintain equipment and tools within manufacturers and company safety guidelines
• Support internal and external audits
• Product tracking and inventory controls
• Work closely and liaise with machine vendors for equipment setup, modification/upgrade and repair
• Foster closer collaboration amongst cross functional teams
• Focus on customer needs and provide timely solutions

Requirements:

• Minimum Polytechnic Engineering Diploma or equivalent
• Minimum 2 years of relevant engineering experience
• Experience in equipment maintenance and troubleshooting is preferred
• Knowledge of semiconductor manufacturing process and technologies is preferred
• High level of cooperation with good communication skills
• Highly driven individual, proactive and ability to multi-task
• Must be able to work 12 hours shift, including night shift
