Q2 Artificial Lift Services (ALS) has 40+ repair and service facilities located across Canada and the U.S. Our service locations are supported by a world‑class manufacturing operation (API & ISO Certified), plus a highly skilled engineering and optimization group. Q2 ALS manufactures high quality individual pump parts in the Oil and Gas Industry. We offer a complete product line of barrels, plungers, fittings, accessories and heat‑treated tubing needed for downhole pump installations.
BASICEMPLOYEE RESPONSIBILITIES
Every Q2 Artificial Lift Services employee is expected to conduct themselves in a professional manner.
- Leading by example by following established Quality, Health and Safety policies & procedures.
- Demonstrate respect for company facilities, equipment, and work spaces.
- Being responsible – on time for work and take breaks during designated times.
- Carrying out other tasks assigned by a supervisor or request for assistance as needed.
- Collaborate with Engineering team in drafting, designing and everyday tasks.
- Create and develop 3D models and drawings using Inventor.
- Implement quality assurance procedures for production and processes.
- Maintain production drawings ensuring accuracy, organization and completeness including revision history.
- Work on new product deliverables, manufacturing deliverables and operational deliverables.
- Communicate with all Q2 North American pump shops for field non‑conformities, new product development and Engineering support.
- Perform any other duties as assigned to ensure project goals and tasks are completed within established deadlines.
- Collaborate with manufacturing, fabrication and welders to improve design and increase efficiency.
- Research and implement conceptual designs, optimized material and procedures.
- Analyze large datasets to identify trends, insights, and actionable outcomes.
- Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or similar field.
- 1 year of drafting experience minimum.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office.
- CFD / FEA knowledge would be an asset.
- Experience in a manufacturing environment would be an asset.
- Power BI experience is an asset.
- Detail‑oriented, well organized.
- Able to work in a fast‑paced environment.
