Q2 Artificial Lift Services (ALS) has 40+ repair and service facilities located across Canada and the U.S. Our service locations are supported by a world‑class manufacturing operation (API & ISO Certified), plus a highly skilled engineering and optimization group. Q2 ALS manufactures high quality individual pump parts in the Oil and Gas Industry. We offer a complete product line of barrels, plungers, fittings, accessories and heat‑treated tubing needed for downhole pump installations.

• Collaborate with Engineering team in drafting, designing and everyday tasks.
• Create and develop 3D models and drawings using Inventor.
• Implement quality assurance procedures for production and processes.
• Maintain production drawings ensuring accuracy, organization and completeness including revision history.
• Work on new product deliverables, manufacturing deliverables and operational deliverables.
• Communicate with all Q2 North American pump shops for field non‑conformities, new product development and Engineering support.
• Perform any other duties as assigned to ensure project goals and tasks are completed within established deadlines.
• Collaborate with manufacturing, fabrication and welders to improve design and increase efficiency.
• Research and implement conceptual designs, optimized material and procedures.
• Analyze large datasets to identify trends, insights, and actionable outcomes.

• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or similar field.
• 1 year of drafting experience minimum.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office.
• CFD / FEA knowledge would be an asset.
• Experience in a manufacturing environment would be an asset.
• Power BI experience is an asset.
• Detail‑oriented, well organized.
• Able to work in a fast‑paced environment.
• Able to work in a team environment.
• Mechanically oriented.
