is an awardwinning truck dealership with locations across Alberta and British Columbia.
We are currently looking for a Service Advisor to join our Red Deer team.
The Service Advisor plays a key role in helping our customers.
You will greet customers, understand their service needs, coordinate repairs, and keep them updated throughout the process.
This role requires strong customer service, basic technical knowledge, good communication, and solid organizational skills.
- Find and prioritize service opportunities by reviewing repair history, checking diagnostics, contacting customers, recommending needed services, booking appointments, and recording outreach.
- Support customer uptime by identifying service needs, suggesting maintenance, helping troubleshoot issues, creating work orders, and scheduling repairs.
- Help the shop run efficiently by planning work, coordinating resources, arranging outside vendor work, confirming appointments, and attending service meetings.
- Provide a great customer experience by welcoming customers, checking in vehicles, answering questions, offering additional services, and keeping customers informed of any changes.
- Build long-term customer relationships by reviewing completed work, explaining future recommendations, closing work orders, preparing invoices, scheduling followup visits, returning vehicles, and gathering feedback.
- Support a positive team culture by promoting teamwork, respecting confidentiality, continuing professional development, and contributing to department goals.
- Basic understanding of business operations to help improve service performance.
- Ability to learn and maintain knowledge of International and IC Bus products and services.
- Commitment to safety by following all company policies and procedures.
- Strong computer skills and comfort using software as part of daily work.
- Clear, respectful communication with customers, coworkers, and vendors.

Desired Education & Experience
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience in a dealership or similar environment is an asset
- Additional education or training in a related field is helpful
