Position Overview
The NSC Administrator ensures Precision Well Servicing meets all regulatory requirements under the National Safety Code (NSC) and other transportation standards. This role leverages advanced digital compliance systems, data-driven audits, and fleet technology platforms to maintain operational integrity and safety across a large, widespread fleet of equipment.
Attention to detail, accuracy in data entry, and strong technology skills are critical. Applicants must be fast learners who can quickly adapt to new systems and processes in a highly digital environment.
Key Responsibilities Driver Compliance & File Management- Create and maintain government‑compliant driver files in corporate systems (SharePoint, File Maker, Equip Trac, and other digital platforms).
- Oversee and update CAOEC Driver Database and internal qualification database.
- Order, review, and file driver abstracts, consent forms, and training certifications.
- Track and update multi‑jurisdictional driver qualification status in adherence with regulatory and permitted conditions.
- Coordinate with Operations, Personnel, and field employees to collect and update missing or expired records.
- Audit electronic logbooks (Motive ELD) for compliance; report findings to management.
- Maintain ELD systems, including driver and vehicle records, and manage fleet supervisor accounts.
- Use internal tracking systems to monitor hours of service and fatigue management.
- Assist drivers with ELD use and compliance.
- Conduct internal audits on driver files, vehicle documentation, and compliance systems; communicate findings to leadership.
- Obtain and review provincial carrier profiles; summarize compliance metrics.
- Support corporate fleet compliance, including pre/post‑trip inspection tracking, maintenance records, and permit renewals.
- Coordinate updates for vehicle exemptions and blanket permits under federal/provincial Hours of Service rules.
- Process onboarding documents for new hires.
- Provide backup support for senior administrators and cross‑functional compliance initiatives.
- 2+ years administrative experience.
- 1+ year in transportation compliance or fleet management.
- Experience with data entry, digital compliance systems, and regulatory documentation.
- We are willing to train individuals with strong data entry experience, excellent attention to detail, and a high degree of technological comfort and skill.
- Proficiency in digital platforms (Microsoft Office, Motive, SharePoint) and ability to quickly learn other internal proprietary systems.
- Strong understanding of National Safety Code, TDG standards, and Hours of Service rules.
- Ability to analyze, interpret, and present compliance data using dashboards and reporting tools.
- Exceptional accuracy and attention to detail in data entry and record management.
- Highly organized with strong prioritization skills.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities.
- Ability to work independently and adapt to changing priorities.
- Strong technology aptitude and ability to learn new systems quickly.
- Office‑based role with consistent computer use, data entry, and document management.
- Daily interaction with field operations and drivers via phone and email.
