Sales Support Specialist

Park Planet is an outdoor equipment distributor providing playgrounds, shade structures, and site amenities with full-service installation. We specialize in turnkey projects and work closely with cities, housing developments, schools, manufacturers, and installers to deliver reliable, high-quality outdoor spaces for schools and communities across California.

We are seeking a Sales Support Specialist to join our team! This role supports our sales representatives and customers by providing product and service information, coordinating projects, and assisting with technical questions. The position includes light playground design work; experience with AutoCAD is a plus. Please note that this position is located in Red Bluff, CA.

• Support sales team members in day-to-day sales activities
• Proactively communicate with customers via phone and email regarding projects, shipments, and orders
• Initiate and manage phone conversations with vendors and manufacturers to coordinate projects, shipments, and orders
• Prepare quotes and coordinate with manufacturers, installers, and sales team members
• Document and update customer records based on interactions
• Develop and maintain a working knowledge of evolving products and services
• Assist with additional office duties as needed; this is a key support role within the business

• Previous experience in customer service, sales, or a related field
• Comfortable making outbound phone calls and using direct communication as a primary tool
• Ability to build rapport with clients and partners
• Ability to prioritize, multitask, and manage follow-ups
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
