Hackensack Meridian Health is seeking a full-time, Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner Manager for Crisis Behavioral Health to join our team in Red Bank, New Jersey. Position Overview

  • Seeking a dynamic and experienced Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) to lead our Crisis Behavioral Health nursing department. This leadership role oversees daily operations, manages clinical and support staff, and ensures delivery of high-quality, comprehensive care to acute, complex patients. The Manager serves as a clinical expert, provides leadership to the specialty area, and ensures compliance with regulatory standards.

Qualifications

  • Previous leadership experience is preferred.
  • PMHNP certification is required.
  • Schedule:

    Full-Time, Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM. No weekends.

Opportunity Requirements

  • Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) from an accredited institution.
  • Minimum of five (5) years clinical experience as a Registered Nurse in a relevant specialty.
  • A minimum of five (5) years of experience in a leadership or administrative capacity.
  • Current and valid NJ State Professional Registered Nurse (RN) License.
  • Current and valid NJ Advanced Practice Nurse (APN) License.
  • Board certification as an Adult Nurse Practitioner.
  • Active DEA and NJ CDS registrations for prescriptive authority.
  • AHA Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification for Healthcare Providers.
  • Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) Certification.
  • A minimum of two (2) years of clinical experience working in a Nurse Practitioner role is preferred.
