Spitball is an independent, full service branding and advertising agency where strategy and storytelling get equal love, and where good ideas refuse to sit in their assigned seats. WHAT YOU’LL DOAccount Support- Keep projects on track by scheduling meetings, taking notes, and managing follow‑ups.
- Support day‑to‑day client communication and help make sure nothing slips through the cracks.
- Maintain status documents, prep for client calls, and help wrangle internal teams so deadlines behave.
- Assist in crafting presentations, gathering project inputs, and reviewing deliverables before they go out.
- Learn the dynamics of different industries and client needs, because every day is a surprise.
- Assist in the development, planning, and execution of media campaigns across digital, social, and traditional channels.
- Help manage creative trafficking, media specs, and delivery deadlines.
- Monitor pacing, performance, and optimization notes with the Media team.
- Conduct research—audience, competitive, platform, placements—and turn it into digestible insights.
- Keep media assets organized, updated, and easy to find.
- Exposure between core account and media responsibilities to build a solid foundation in agency ops.
- Learn how campaigns get built—from the earliest spark to the post‑launch report.
- Get mentorship, structured skill development, and exposure to cross‑functional teams.
- A curious, detail‑oriented human who thrives in fast paced, creative enviroments.
- You have a bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, media, advertising, or something adjacent—or you can just tell us why your background makes sense here.
- A strong communicator who’s comfortable talking to clients, teammates, and vendors.
- A doer: you like to solve problems, not just point at them.
- You’re comfortable with spreadsheets, slides, task lists, and learning new tools.
- You have a love for creative work and an appreciation for data (or at least you’re willing learn).
- Bonus: internships or exposure to marketing/media/agency environments are helpful but not required.
This role is designed to help you understand where you shine:
- Client service, relationship‑building, and project management fundamentals.
- The media landscape: planning, buying, reporting, optimization, and analytics.
- How creative and media teams collaborate (and occasionally negotiate peace treaties).
- How real agencies work—deadlines, curveballs, and the joy of a campaign that actually works.
At the end of 18–24 months, you’ll choose your specialization:
Account Track or Media Track
.
We’ll help you shape your path based on strengths, interests, and performance.
- Hybrid work environment
- Opportunities for growth and mentorship
- Exposure to diverse clients and industries
- Small team. Real impact. No disappearing into the background.
- A culture where your ideas matter and your personality isn’t something you check at the door
