Systems Engineer
Director of Technical Development (hybrid position) Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced and strategic Director of Technical Development to lead our software engineering initiatives and drive innovation across our technology platforms. This role requires deep expertise in software development, strong engineering leadership experience, and the ability to understand and navigate complex ad tech ecosystems. The ideal candidate is both technically hands-on and a proven team leader who can scale engineering operations while delivering high-quality, reliable solutions.
Duties/Responsibilities- Lead and manage high-performing engineering teams, fostering a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement
- Oversee the design, development, testing, and deployment of scalable software solutions
- Drive technical strategy and architecture decisions aligned with business objectives
- Partner cross-functionally with Product, Operations, and sales to deliver robust ad tech solutions
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to engineering team members
- Ensure best practices in code quality, system design, security, and performance optimization
- Evaluate and implement new technologies to enhance platform capabilities
- Manage project timelines, resource allocation, and development roadmaps
- Communicate technical concepts effectively to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Position will require that the individual understands all regulations and laws applicable to their assigned roles and responsibilities. Additionally, the individual will be responsible for the development, implementation, and regular maintenance of policies and procedures that govern the work of assigned roles and responsibilities, including compliance with the security requirements of ePHI.

- Results-driven with a focus on execution and delivery
- 10-15 years of progressive experience in software development and engineering or data management
- Proven experience managing and scaling engineering teams
- Strong background in system architecture, distributed systems, and scalable platform development
- Demonstrated understanding of ad tech technologies, including programmatic advertising ecosystems, data integrations, and performance tracking systems
- Experience working in fast-paced, high-growth environments
- Master’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related technical field (preferred)
