Position: Higher Specialist Social Worker - MASH Sanctuary Personal

Overview

Social Worker - Adults Multi-Disciplinary Team. We are seeking a dynamic Higher Specialist Social Worker to join our Multi-Agency Safeguarding Hub (MASH) team in Reading, UK. As a Higher Specialist Social Worker, you will have the opportunity to make a significant impact in the community while working in a supportive and forward-thinking environment. The salary range for this role is £44,075 to £50,269 per year.

Responsibilities
  • Work as a pivotal part of the Multi-Agency Safeguarding Hub, conducting thorough assessments to inform precise decision-making.
  • Collaborate with a range of agencies to ensure the protection and welfare of children and young people.
  • Utilise extensive frontline experience to manage complex cases effectively and efficiently.
  • Provide mentorship and guidance to junior members of the team, fostering a collaborative and knowledgeable working environment.
  • Stay up to date with best practices and implement these in daily responsibilities to enhance service delivery.
Qualifications
  • Degree or equivalent qualification in social work, and current registration with Social Work England.
  • Significant frontline experience in Social Services as a Qualified Social Worker.
  • Experience working within safeguarding frameworks and an innovative approach to duties.
