Pay: £45,(Apply online only) basic + overtime at 1.5x

An excellent opportunity has arisen for an experienced HGV Technician / HGV Mechanic / Commercial Vehicle Technician to join a professional commercial vehicle workshop in Reading. This HGV Technician / HGV Mechanic / Commercial Vehicle Technician role offers strong earnings, flexibility on working patterns, ongoing technical training and clear career progression, with options to upskill LCV Technicians into full HGV roles.

The Role:

- Carry out major/minor repairs on HGVs

- Perform inspections & preventative maintenance

- Diagnose faults using dealer?level diagnostic tools

- Maintain accurate service records & documentation

- Assist with wheel alignment & tyre fitting

- Ensure high standards of safety, quality & compliance

The Requirements:

- Level 3 HGV Maintenance qualification (NVQ/City & Guilds/IMI)

- Experience as an HGV Technician / HGV Mechanic

- Ability to identify worn/faulty components to DVSA standards

- Full UK driving licence
