Job Title:Electrician (Training into Solar and BESS)

Location:Reading and surrounding areas (No overnight stays and local travel only)

Salary:£30,000 to £40,000 per annum + training and development package

Start Date:December 2025 or January 2026

Valoris Groupare seeking a motivated local Electrician to join a growing team in Reading. This is a great opportunity for an experienced electrician looking to move into renewable energy. You will receive full training in Solar PV and Battery Energy Storage Systems, with all work completed locally and no nights away.

• Carry out electrical installation works across domestic and commercial sites
• Support solar PV and BESS installs while undertaking structured training
• Complete testing, inspection, and fault-finding tasks
• Ensure compliance with industry regulations and health & safety procedures
• Deliver excellent customer service and maintain professional site standards

• NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation or equivalent
• 18th Edition
• Full UK driving licence
• Strong attitude to learning and development
• Good communication and customer-facing skills

• BESS knowledge or experience
• Electrical testing qualification (2391 or equivalent)
• £30k to £40k basic salary
• Company van and fuel card
