Upholsterer

We are currently recruiting on behalf of a Commercial Upholstery restoration business that requires a skilled Upholsterer or commercial Furniture Restorer for an immediate start. The role involves carrying out professional furniture and upholstery repairs in commercial businesses such as pubs, clubs, hotels and restaurants along the M4 Corridor.

Basic Salary: £34,000 per annum. Earnings (OT): £45,000 to £55,000 OTE (estimated overtime range per annum).

Fully serviced and insured work vehicle, unlimited fuel, tools and all additional expenses such as parking and accommodation. The position covers travel along the M4 Corridor with occasional overnight stays, fully compensated.

• Repair and restore upholstery and furniture in commercial premises such as pubs, restaurants and hotels.
• Use a sewing machine for appointment and cutting on site.
• Top stitch and perform quilted & button‑back upholstery.
• Undertake other reasonable activities as required, including travel.
• Occasional overnight stays when required on rare occasions.
• Open to covering the M4 Corridor.

• Proficient machine searing and cutting on‑site using a mobile sewing machine (provided).
• Proficient in top stitching, quilted & button‑back upholstery.
• Significant experience in commercial furniture production and/or restoration techniques.
• Extensive relevant workplace experience.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively with others.
