We are looking for an experienced HGV Technician, Truck Technician, or Commercial Vehicle Technician to join a busy Reading workshop. You will carry out inspections, servicing, diagnostics, and repairs on HGVs, trailers, and commercial vehicles to keep them safe, compliant, and on the road. • Perform major and minor repairs on HGVs, trailers, and commercial vehicles
• Carry out regular inspections and preventative maintenance
• Diagnose faults and assist with repair planning
• Maintain accurate workshop records and complete relevant documentation
• Provide emergency roadside repair support when required
• Maintain a safe, clean, and compliant working environment

Essential

• Level 3 qualification in HGV Vehicle Repair and Maintenance (NVQ, City & Guilds, or IMI)
• Experience performing diagnostic and service repairs on HGVs
• Ability to identify worn or faulty components in line with DVSA standards
• Full UK driving licence for relevant vehicle classes

Desirable

• Experience with heavy goods vehicle diagnostics
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work under pressure
