Relief Security Officer

Overview

A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a Corporate Security Officer who will work at various sites in the London Area, delivering high quality guarding and customer service to clients and service users. Officers must be SIA licenced and willing to work in environments such as corporate settings, estates and education campuses, and be able to stand for long periods. Flexibility in hours and approach to daily duties is required.

• SIA Licence required
• Security and customer service experience is required
• Flexible to work days, nights, weekends and able to adapt shifts due to operational needs
• Good command of English
• Smart appearance befitting the company
• Strong customer service and communication skills (written and verbal)
• Flexible in daily duties and able to support additional events on site
• Maintains working knowledge of locations, security and safety for assigned areas
• Flexible in duties such as long periods of standing, patrolling, reception duties, access control and lock-ups
• Five years of checkable work history

• Demonstrate and deliver high quality guarding and customer service to clients and service users
• Work as part of a team or independently; be proactive and think on your feet
• Physically fit to complete patrols internally and externally; able to stand/walk during shift
• Confident in writing incident and shift reports
• Maintain a friendly, professional and courteous demeanor with appropriate body language
• Exercise command and control and be an effective communicator across peer groups and management levels
