Security Officer - Nights

Overview

G4S are currently recruiting a security officer to work nights at an established food manufacturing site in Selby.

This opportunity will allow you to work at a prestigious location, with a high standard of security needing to be met at all times. We will offer on-site training, as well as career development too.

Shifts:

Wednesday to Sunday nights

Time: 18.00 – 06.00 – 48 hours per week

Payrate: £12.21 per hour

As a security officer at G4S, you are more than a security guard. You ll ensure the safety of our customers  staff, their buildings, and assets, whilst providing excellent customer service with a smile. We pride ourselves on delivering excellent customer service in a safe and secure environment.

Within this role you will be working within a modern gatehouse building as well as having free parking on site. Furthermore, you can take full advantage of the heavily discounted company shop on site (selling sauces, HP, ketchup, pasta sauces etc).

• Greeting staff and visitors in a friendly and professional manner
• Ensuring everyone follows the security and safety protocols of the site
• Gatehouse duties
• Conducting searches when required
• Patrolling of the premises - both inside and outside
• Dealing with any security incidents on site and completing relevant incident report forms

You will need to be aged 18 or over, a confident communicator who is a team player with the drive to provide a friendly and professional service at all times. Good IT knowledge is also key.

It would be a benefit to have some security experience and your SIA license.
