Food Science Technician

Position: Food Science Technician (Contract)
CK Group are recruiting for a Food Science Technician to join a leading global food brand company on a contract basis for 3 months. This is a site-based role in Reading but may include travel to the Wokingham lab.

Salary:
£13.30 ph PAYE

Food Science Technician Role:

Perform routine analysis and sample preparation
Produce reliable, accurate data and keep accurate records of laboratory work
Follow product formulations and methods to produce food products at bench or manufacturing scale
Perform laboratory tasks following specified methodologies

Your Background:

Have a background, or understanding of food safety
Worked in a food environment such as a lab, kitchen etc
Hold A levels in a scientific subject
Meticulous attention to detail and an ability to follow written instructions
Good written and verbal communication skills
This is an urgent role so a candidate who can start quickly is a requirement
