Proofpoint is looking for a Associate Channel Account Manager (CAM) to join the UKISA Channel team. This is an entry-level role designed to support the existing Channel Account Managers while taking ownership of operational and growth initiatives within our distribution and partner ecosystem.

You will play a key role in supporting partner engagement, enabling growth through distribution, assisting with deal processes, and ensuring operational excellence across the channel. This position reports to the Senior Channel Director, UKISA, and works closely with Field CAMs, Distribution, Sales, and Commercial teams.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone early in their channel sales career who is highly organised, commercially minded, and eager to develop into a full Channel Account Manager role.

Your Day-to-Day Support the Channel Team
  • Support Field CAMs in executing partner business plans and sales strategies.
  • Assist with deal registration approval/denial processes and Salesforce administration.
  • Help drive pipeline development, sales qualification, and deal progression via channel partners.
  • Coordinate processes between Field CAMs, Mid-Enterprise and SME sales teams.
  • Support accurate forecasting, reporting, and tracking of partner performance metrics.
Manage Distribution & Emerging Partners
  • Work closely with distribution partners to drive growth across Silver and emerging partners.
  • Support site visits and partner engagement activities with distribution.
  • Assist partners through onboarding and enablement processes, ensuring sales and pre-sales accreditation.
  • Help partners understand Proofpoint’s value proposition and how to differentiate in the market.
Operational Excellence
  • Support quote generation and order processing to ensure ease of doing business.
  • Follow up on PO status and booking coordination to ensure accurate and timely deal closure.
  • Work closely with partners at month-end and quarter-end to ensure order accuracy.
  • Maintain CRM hygiene and ensure process adherence across the channel ecosystem.
Enablement & Marketing Support
  • Assist in delivering partner sales training sessions and internal enablement sessions.
  • Support partner marketing initiatives and campaigns to build pipeline.
  • Collaborate with Channel Marketing to ensure activities drive measurable ROI.
What You Bring to the Team
  • 1+ years’ experience in a sales, channel, or business development support role (IT or cybersecurity experience desirable but not essential).
  • Strong interest in channel sales and distribution models.
  • Highly organised, process-oriented, and detail-focused.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Comfortable working cross-functionally with sales, commercial, and operational teams.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficient in CRM systems (Salesforce experience desirable).
  • Eager to learn, develop commercial acumen, and grow into a full Channel Account Manager role.
  • Fluent English required; additional languages are a plus.
Desired Attributes
  • Passionate about knowledge sharing and enabling others.
  • Strong relationship-building skills with a collaborative mindset.
  • Analytical and data-driven in approach.
  • Self-motivated with a proactive attitude.
  • Commercially curious and keen to understand partner business models.
