Job Role
Within this role you will be providing key commercial support to the team, working proactively to ensure the smooth day-to‑day operation of the accessories business. You will develop a strong understanding of the FMCG business within the IT sector and will have the opportunity to develop your commercial and financial acumen.
Your Day‑to‑Day Responsibilities Will Include:- Work proactively with the Business Manager and appropriate vendor and sales teams to optimise opportunities.
- Provide Inventory Management support.
- Run daily reports on stock levels, understand reorder levels, place orders, and chase backorders with OEM partners.
- Create system part codes.
- Keep track of aged inventory, alert BM of potential issues and raise stock rotations with vendor partners when required.
- New product set up and maintenance (PPMS).
- Communicate product information to sales.
- Monitor promotional activity and relevant vendor claims.
- Provide sales support by assisting the Business Manager, chasing backorders for sales staff and assisting sales teams with product information, maintaining public folders so staff can find information.
- Proactively seek new ways to improve systems or processes within the role.
- Ad‑hoc activities relevant to the role as required.
To be successful in this role you will have some of the following skills and experience and the desire to develop in other areas:
- Experience of working within an FMCG business or the IT industry is beneficial.
- Motivated and driven to succeed.
- Able to work independently and take initiative.
- Ability to adapt to changing situations and work under pressure.
- Organised with excellent attention to detail.
- Knowledge of Supply Chain processes would be beneficial.
- Confident Excel user.
